Meet Some of our Cabernet Champions

This page features just a few of our Cabernet champions. While we know that this is only a start we also know that there are many others that could be listed which includes the champions we’ve co-owned. It’s not our intention to leave anyone out.


Bunni

Ch. Cabernet Lets Go To Jaset is enjoying a wonderful life as the
queen bee with Sandy Tompkins of Jaset Standard poodles.

Bunni is the mother of our Nora and of London, GCh Jaset’s Satisfaction. London was Winner’s Dog at our 2009 National Show then returned in 2011 and was awarded Best of Breed. London was Best In Show at the AKC/Eukanuba National Championship show and returned the next year representing the USA. He went Best In Show for the International Show World Show there.

London retired with 100 Best In Shows.

 


Dustin

Ch. Cabernet Back Street Boy said goodbye to his family in 2014 at the age of 14.

 


Garren

Ch. Cabernet’s Unlimited Love was a puppy champion, Best of
Variety winner at Poodle Specialties and all breeds. Garren now lives with
Susan and Tom Slatterly and more importantly his little Chihuahua friend Mika,
whom he loves.

 



 Maddie

Ch. Pave Black Ice at Cabernet was a puppy champion and first in his 6-9
puppy class at Poodle Club of America Nationals. Maddie lived with and was
loved by Arlene
Woehl and Roberta Palumbo.  Maddie always enjoyed his
walks and being the main greeter for their dinner parties. He died a few
months short of his 14th birthday. 

 


 Malena

Ch. Cabernet’s Livin For Love enjoyed her life with Annag in
Austin, Texas. 

 


Lotta

Ch. Cabernet’s Whole Lotta Love was a puppy Champion.

 


Margot

Ch. Cabernet’s La Reine Marguerite was loved and owned by
Barbara and Tom Dorazil  in
North Carolina.

 



Mitchell

Ch. Cabernet Delisa Done Deal was a puppy champion who lives with and is
loved by Jan and Bob Rix. He spends his summer weekends on their boat motoring
up the Delta. 

 

 

Cash

Ch. Cabernet’s Money To Burn was a puppy
champion who lived and was loved by our dear friends, Lorraine
and Nancy. Cash spent his time going to his cabin in the Sierras,
camping, and fishing with his mommies.

Every morning Cash moved all his
favorite stuffed toys from the bedroom into the dining room and put them
on his pad. Then every evening he moved them all back into the bedroom.

 

Odette

Ch. Cabernet’s was Living Proof of a puppy
champion. Odette lived with John and his many Hanoverian horses. She and
John were inseparable. 

Chase

Ch. Cabernet’s Cut To The Chase went out
for the first time at the Kennel Club show of Palm Springs and was awarded
two five point majors! Just one month later he won his third five point
major, this time under breeder judge, Dana Plonkey at the Mission Trail
Poodle Specialty!

Chase is adored, loved, and cherished by
Tom Stapleton.

Marshall

Ch. Cabernet’s One and Only was a puppy
champion that placed fourth in his class at the Poodle Club of America’s
National. 

Marshall loved to go to his second home at Sea Ranch with his two mommies so he could hunt for lizards all day long.

Addie

Ch. Cabernet’s Addicted To Love was a
puppy champion that placed in her class at the PCA National. Addie was
deeply loved by Sarah Cavanaugh until the age of 13.

 

Chanel

Ch. Cabernet’s Chanel #1 was loved by
Suzanne Myers and finished by Madeline Patterson at less than two years of
age.
